Just in time for the holidays, our gym was transformed into a festive craft fair on Friday, December 2nd for the whole school and parents to enjoy!
Led by Ms. Chu, all Grade 5 to 7 students were invited to take part in this year’s “Mistletoe Market.” With only 20 tables available, this special project launched on an exciting note as interested vendors competed for one of the coveted spots.
With student initiative as the objective, the responsibilities included:
- Getting permission to participate from teachers and families
- Attending all in-school meetings on time, after school set-up, and most importantly, the event!
- Creating unique handmade items priced between $1-5, with only two tables permitted to sell the same type of product
It was an exhausting challenge, but by all accounts, thoroughly enjoyed.
Kudos to all our young entrepreneurs and our jolly Ms. Chu for this memorable experience. What a wonderful way to kick off our most joyful month of the year!
Enjoy this look back:
