Always highly anticipated, we wrapped up PAC’s final gift of the year with a drizzle of syrup and a sprinkle of Santa magic! Hosted annually on the last Friday (December 16th this year) before the holiday break, griddles warmed up the frosty pre-winter day as volunteers prepped for the pajama parade of hungry students.

Our wonderfully decorated gym filled with the smell of hot cakes, and we could taste the excitement once the Christmas music filled the air. By the time the first bell rang, our seniors had already flipped a couple of hundred pancakes and were eagerly awaiting the pitter patter of little feet. The next hour and a half was spent making beautiful memories while sharing treats, spreading holiday cheer, and taking photos with Santa. It all culminated in a special thank you breakfast for our ever hard-working teachers and staff while the kids ran out to burn off the extra calories.

A great big buttery thank you goes out to all of our parent volunteers, our senior leadership group, our wonderful teachers and staff, as well as Starbucks Highgate for generously donating our beverages – juice for the kids and coffee for the “big kids.” To all our families, your support throughout the year for Hot Lunches and fundraisers is appreciated more than you can imagine. You are what makes our Brantford community so admirable and well loved. We cannot imagine a better way de dire au revoir à 2022!
