If your child was unusually excited about going to school today, it may have been because they knew something sweet awaited them in the halls of Brantford. A tremendous success in its first run before Christmas, the PAC Bake Sale made its popular return as students celebrated Valentine’s Day.
Selling goodies from two stations in opposite wings of the school at $1-3 per item, children had an incredible selection of treats from which to choose. With only a couple of dollars to spend for some, one can imagine how tough it must’ve been for a first grader to choose among an assortment of cookies, cake/marshmallow pops, brownies, cupcakes, cinnamon buns, candies, triffle cups, and more! No matter what the kids picked, we know a lot of love went into this event and into happy bellies.
Thank you to all of our parent volunteers, the families that donated baked goods which allowed us to offer such variety, and as always, our wonderful students for supporting the sale, the proceeds of which will be added to the funds that PAC continues to raise in order to pay for or subsidize Brantford’s events throughout the year. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all 💕.
