Back to School BBQ Silent Auction

Welcome to the 2023/24 school year, families! What better way to kick off what’s sure to be another amazing year at Brantford than our Back-to-School BBQ on Friday, September 15th right after dismissal from 3 – 5:30PM. It will be so much more than our usual annual event because we are also celebrating Mexican Independence Day! Stay tuned for more details in the days to come, but for now, check out the awesome Silent Auction items that will be up for bids at the Fiesta!

Rainbow Play Café is New West’s first play café! A multicultural, accessible, and inclusive cafe with an indoor playground offering different activities & workshops tailored for families with young children.

Donation: Admission tickets + a family game.

Villa Servin is a Burnaby grocer that carries products from all Latin-American countries, as well as organic products from all around the world.

Donation: Gift basket.

Young Rembrandts is an after-school enrichment program offered at Brantford throughout the school year.

Donation: A session for 1 student.

Words in Motion is a Spanish-immersion institution based in Vancouver.

Donation: Two 1-hour online Spanish sessions for 1 student.

The Great Canadian Adventure is a hands-on social studies curriculum for kids.

Donation: World studies China Unit (157 page full colour book + 11″ x 17″ map of China).

History Plus! is a curated monthly educational video series on history, geography and science.

Donation: A 1-year subscription.

Dageraad is a small-batch artisan brewery. Enjoy their beers at their 50-seat tasting room in Burnaby or retailers across BC.

Donation: Dageraad merchandise and gift card.

Facile à lire is a French phonic reading series recommended by teachers.

Donation: Two series from its collection.

Sal y Limón is a Mexican restaurant in Vancouver.

Donation: Gift cards.

Nahualli Folklore Society‘s mission is to represent and share Mexican Culture through the art of dance.

Donation: Five 2024 classes for ages 12 and older (Mondays from 7-9pm at The Scottish Cultural Centre, Vancouver).
