Get Ready for the Book Fair! This annual event is more than just a chance to stock up on great reads—it’s an opportunity for kids to build excitement around books, support their classroom libraries, and share the experience with their families. Even better, every purchase earns Rewards that help our whole school by providing new books and educational resources for classrooms and the library.
Here’s what to know before the big event:
When: Tuesday, April 29 – Thursday, May 1
Where: School Library
Each teacher will sign up for a Book Fair time, which may be different from their class’s usual library visit. During their scheduled time, students can browse and create a wish list—look for it in their agendas.
Purchases can be made during each class’s Book Fair visit and during lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note: the fair will not be open during recess. Students may bring cash, and a debit/credit machine will also be available.
K/1 families: It’s recommended that purchases be made during the family event on Thursday afternoon, especially if sending money isn’t ideal.
Family Event: Thursday, May 1 from 1:55–4:30pm
Following early dismissal for student-led conferences, families are invited to visit the library and shop together.
Teacher wish lists in the library will also be available for anyone interested in purchasing a book to donate to a classroom.
